We’ve produced and managed public branding for 30+ radio shows and podcasts over the last 15+ years. We’ve highlighted some of those media projects and branding campaign examples below.
The Dr. Shoup Show
The Dr. Shoup Show is a weekly one hour radio show that airs several times on Saturdays and Sundays across Indiana on FM and AM stations. The show is hosted by Dr. Randy Shoup. Dr. Shoup founded Microscope Dentistry by Shoup. We also help manage the public branding of that practice. We assist with weekly radio show content preparation, providing ongoing audio imaging, we have an on site producer for the weekly recording session, then we manage the post production and updating all of the content on the website dedicated to the radio show. Christian Questions
Christian Questions is a podcast that releases new episodes weekly. We produce weekly custom audio intros, while providing full episode post production. We review every episode for hosting and content preparation coaching. We’re also reviewing the companion video recordings to produce video highlight clips to repurpose on social media channels. We additionally consult and provide feedback for the weekly YouTube content releases. We also consult on their website design and content. The Two Fat Guys Hardware Show
This was one of the most dynamic media projects we were a part of. What started as a weekend one hour radio show, came very close to becoming a TV reality series. The hosts Rick & Smokey were partners in a local hardware store and they were trying to drive new foot traffic through their doors by airing a weekly weekend radio show. We helped them buck the trend of other hardware store owners airing weekend radio shows that were simply…dry and boring. We produced the show with a premise of entertaining man talk with hardware tips thrown in here and there. After producing the show for a couple years our team was instrumental in adding additional radio markets and multi-market advertisers. We were then approached by one of the Discovery TV networks to produce a companion TV reality series. After shooting a couple pilot episodes there were several network management changes and our compensation negotiations broke down. We came close! The radio show continued to grow and in year 5 we joined the Fox Sports radio network. After season 7 we decided to put the production on ice and revisit the podcast only possibilities. Real Estate Investing Radio
As we detailed in one of our case studies. Our CEO and the host of this talk radio show connected in 2011. Aaron Adams admits to this day the show preparation was being done just before they started recording, the show name, overall organization and audio production elements were an afterthought. Let’s just wing it and throw some knowledge out there to see if it sticks. Our team provided detailed hosting coaching, new audio imaging production, a new show name and logo revamp, while helping them move the show to a larger listenership platform. We were privileged to have produced Real Estate Investing Radio for 7 seasons. After concluding the radio show and podcast we’ve focused on launching multiple websites featuring video content and e-commerce training tools. Hear a radio show/podcast example below.
The Law Sisters
The law firm Copeley Johnson & Groninger, based in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina, realized there was a hole in the podcast landscape (back in 2016) for consistent legal commentary addressing sexual harassment work. After a year of planning by the two legal firm partners Valerie and Leto, they approached Edge Media Studios in Indianapolis to manage and launch their new podcast idea and concept. Our CEO was brought in as a consultant and ongoing Executive Producer. We held an initial planning meeting and helped enhance, further shape their initial outlines and structure concepts. Like many of our clients have experienced, their initial podcast name concept was facing a lot of online content competition. It was a great name, but we suggested they go with their plan B name for better branding and a bigger potential in carving out an online niche. We also helped plan out the initial episodes. We then moved to writing the main podcast intro, in episode themed segment audio bumpers and producing the audio imaging. Their entire team loved the audio imaging and were encouraged that all they needed to focus on was their in episode commentary preparation. Hear an example audio episode below.
The Safe Money Show
Our team takes on several different industries, applying our step by step radio show, podcasting and branding process. We enjoy seeing our clients like Brian Singer and Singer Financial Group succeed. Driven and successful minds do think alike and when our team met Brian, the story progresses just like our other client examples. We first interacted with Brian in early 2011. Brian had been hosting The Safe Money Show for little over a year, there were some leads coming in monthly, but not at the volume he wanted. Something seemed to be missing. We provided several weeks of our talk radio show structure review and Brian applied our content organization suggestions to his weekly preparation and on air commentary. New audio imaging was also applied. Brian received consistent compliments from his potential new clients on the audio quality and content he was delivering every week. Our team designed the Safe Money Show logo and several public branding images and slogans. We have professionally managed Singer Financial Group’s multiple radio platforms branding campaigns, while consulting them on video and digital marketing content. They have recently leveraged their just over a decade of branding and business growth into a successful new firm merger.
